Education and career

Studied Dutch law at the University of Amsterdam and European law at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. Began at the end of 1997 as a lawyer for Allen & Overy (previously Loeff Claeys Verbeke) in the area of procedural law (International Trade and Insurance Law department). Moved on thereafter to the M&A practice, where she focused on (international) mergers and takeovers, joint ventures and private equity. Lawyer at Spigthoff since 2008.
