Education and career

Studied Dutch law at the University of Amsterdam. Worked for seven years at the legal department of the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets. After that he became attorney at law with Loeff Clayes Verbeke and Loyens & Loeff. Guido joined Spigthoff in 2003 and became a partner of the firm in 2005.

 

Guido Roth is lecturer at, inter alia, the Grotius Academy and fellow of the Radboud University Nijmegen. He is annotator for the JOR and a member of the editorial board of Tijdschrift Ondernemingsrecht and Tijdschrift voor Sanctierecht & Compliance. Guido is frequently invited to speak at conferences and is the author of numerous articles on issues related to the enforcement of financial law.
